UPDATE & Typical Schedule: Drop Coursera. Add Udemy Blender

After a week or two with Coursera, Ian isn't really getting anything out of it.  It is just "another chore" and paying the tutor to help him through it isn't work the money.  Ian suggested Udemy as a replacement - Blender Animation.  He wants to use it to create his Habitat for the biology project due in a few weeks.

So we dropped Coursera, and added Udemy Blender.   So far he's very happy with the content - and it was only $12.99 (whereas Coursera was $50/month.

Summary
You can see he spends quite a bit of time doing algebra (about 8 hours/week working with an instructor/tutor).  He does fencing 3 times/week (Saturday, Tues/Thurs.  If he misses Thurs due to video game tournament, he goes on Wednesday).  He has about 5 hours of free time on his "long days."  And on lighter days (where he stays home) he has upwards of 7 hours of "free time."  Weekends are free sans 3 hours fencing.   This amounts to more than FORTY HOURS PER WEEK of FREE TIME where he is completely unbothered.  He can play video games, read, watch TV, sometimes we'll spend time together (as a family, or just with him) or he'll spend time with his siblings if they're free....or alone.  He works in 15-20 minutes of music practice a couple of times a week (which isn't scheduled, just fits in when it makes sense).  Once a month he'll have a Jack and Jill event.  We have to try to find time to work shadowing the vet in again.
